I saw this Spencer Keys buddy of yours on CBC's documentary show, "The Passion Eye".
It basically gives little bios of various UBC students at different points in their academic career, lets the student present their views on university life.
Thought I'd mention that. Were you ever approached for this, I wonder?
It's a shame you're down in the States and can't watch this documentary. It is F#$@ing entertaining!
You've got these students from various walks of life (and from different social groups) being downright candid (more or less, since they are on camera) about their university lives.
The bits on this Spencer guy is just as entertaining as the others. At the beginning of his featurette, he talked about how he always comes second in every he does in life. And in the last clip of him, we see him lose some election for this post he was running for -- he came in second.

I wish. No, Spencer was a VERY high profile fellow about campus. I just was in the Math Club.

Thought I'd mention that I've made more posts on your blog in the last few hours than I ever have in the past - combined.
How did they pick the people for this documentary? What was the criteria?

Spencer, you reading this?
How?
Oh. Well I'm sure they wouldn't have wanted me then, I don't have good screen presence.
